I believe in making sure that when a dog is being groomed, they are doing so in a happy and friendly environment. I strongly believe in giving the dog time to settle so that they enjoy the experience, and don't associate with a groom being rushed and busy like in the vets!

I also cater for dogs who have sensitive skin. I use a soothing and gentle Aloe Vera shampoo. Gently massaging it into the skin and then blow drying in a nice cool temperature. Making sure that nothing what so ever can cause irritation to the skin.

I also have experience grooming dogs ready for dog shows, such as Discover Dogs. This takes many hours of grooming so I always give the dog frequent breaks and little walks and toilet stops! Dogs experience tiredness and boredom to. So it is very important to me that they get lots of cuddles, praise and breaks! (Just as much as we humans do too!)

I have also had many experiences where dogs get agitated when being groomed. Normally due to bad previous experiences. This does not put me off grooming a dog! I love to prove to our four legged friends that being groomed can be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Not just for them but for us too!!
